The Company Seeks the Services of an Assistant Cubex Operator x1
Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
- Understand the daily plan and prioritize work within the authority limits of this role.
- Be clear on the expectations of the Cubex Operator, including tasks assigned, so that work is done safely and effectively.
- Assist the Cubex Operator to set the machine to execute work in a safe manner.
- Conduct pre-shift checks of equipment and undertakes basic care and maintenance of the equipment.
- Assist in making the work area safe to prevent injury to personnel and damage to the electro-hydraulic equipment.
- Prepare and mark ends in conformity with standard pattern prior to commencement of drilling operations. Furthermore, assist to achieve production targets and care for the equipment.
- Be clear on the expectations of supervisors, including tasks assigned, so that work is done safely & effectively.
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Underground working experience will be an added advantage
- Oral and Written Communication Skills
- All academic qualifications should be verified by Zambia Qualification Authority
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives.
