The Company Seeks the Services of a Construction Lead (Engineer) x 1

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

•    Develop project timelines and milestones in cooperation with other construction management professionals.

•    Ensure all construction projects are executed according to the schedule and within budget.

•    Ensure all construction is implemented as per designs.

•    Ensure that the quality of Projects is within good standards.

•    Coordinate efforts between various stakeholders including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients and ensure that all materials and equipment are delivered to the site on time.

•    Monitoring project progress and reporting status to senior management and stakeholders.

•    Resolve conflicts or concerns involving labor forces or project impediments

•    Manage project documentation and maintaining comprehensive project records.

•    Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to comply with health and safety standards.

•    Drive the health, safety and environment standards/policy awareness and practice in the Department to ensure compliance.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

•    Grade 12 Certificate.

•    Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering or equivalent.

•    Must have knowledge on civil work.

•    Work experience of at least five (5) Years.

•    Must be competent in project Management.

•    Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.

•    Excellent decision-making and prioritization skills.

•    All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority.

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
