Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and communicating the general activities of the clinic through effective and efficient management of medical and surgical illnesses
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
- Coordinating of emergency medical response and management of occupational illnesses
- Monitoring and controlling utilization of Clinic stocks and equipment
- Maintaining good Housekeeping by ensuring high standards of cleanliness
- Keeping accurate, concise and complete records of all Clinic activities
- Submitting statistics as per Statutory and Company requirements
- Organizing Wellness Sensitization Programs for the workforce
- Management of mine accidents and illnesses
- Quick diagnosis and treatment of emergencies
- Responding and commencing treatment to mine related injuries and illnesses on site
- Collaborating with the mobile emergency medical facility
- Conducting medical surveillance and follow up on occupational illnesses
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Diploma in Nursing
- Fully registered with Nurses and Midwifery Council of Zambia
- Certificate/Diploma in Occupation Health is an added advantage
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
