Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing under supervision, manual work as required in any of the Mufulira Secondary Sections

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

  1. Performing general cleaning, delivering documents as required, etc
  2. Preparing job site, loading and delivering materials to requested destination
  3. Driving the Health, Safety and Environment Standards/Policy awareness and practice in the department to ensure compliance
  4. Always using correct PPE
  5. Facilitating SLAM, M-com, training
  6. Reporting all basic electrical faults/fittings
  7. Managing simple plumbing works
  8. Carrying out driving assignments for the Secondary Section
  9. Adhering to all other assignments given that are lawful and fair

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Grade 12 certificate
  2. Valid Driver’s Licence
  3. Valid First Aid Certificate
  4. Excellent verbal communication skills
  5. Good interpersonal relationship skills

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
