The Company Seeks the Services of Mechanic Carpentry x1

Job Purpose

To provide a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation services within the carpentry and all building structures at Nkana Mine site.

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

  1. Construct and repair roofs, ceiling boards and wooden partitions
  2. Perform carpentry repairs, maintenance, and installation works on various furniture types around the company.
  3. Responsible for installation and repair of doors.
  4. Install and repair fly screens
  5. Install window panes
  6. Painting of buildings across the mine site.
  7. Perform to all other assignments that are given that are lawful and fair

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
  2. Trade test in Carpentry and Joinery
  3. A minimum of 2 years’ experience

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
