The Company Seeks the Services of a Artisan Welder x 1

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

•    Inspecting all equipment to be worked on and asses the work to be done.

•    Carryout planned maintenance.

•    Welding using relevant techniques on the machinery, equipment and fabrication.

•    Completing defect dockets, work orders and other communicative documents.

•    Observing safety mining regulations when carrying out duties.

•    Keep work area clean and tidy.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

•    Grade 12 Certificate.

•    Craft Certificate in Welding.

•    Additional related qualification will be an added advantage.

•    Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).

•    First Aid Certificate.

•    Have good oral and written Communication Skills.

•    At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
