Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
• To perform general labour duties in ventilation section.
• Physically transport or carriages materials to requested destinations underground.
• Observe all mining and safety regulations at all times while performing assigned tasks.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those relating to health, safety hygiene, respect for other team members, time keeping and flexibility.
• Be part of a team providing general work, support and assistance to skilled trades people in the assigned section.
• Adhering to all other assignments that are given that are lawful and fair.
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Blasting License is added advantage.
• Must have a First Aid Certificate.
• Ability to work in Confined Spaces Underground.
• Knowledge of Underground Fan Installation, Vent Ducts Installation, Concrete Wall and Brick Wall Construction.
• All academic and professional qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority.
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
