The Company Seeks the Services of an Artisan Boiler Maker x 1
Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
• Fabricating/welding ancillary equipment.
• Receiving daily schedules or verbal instructions from Foreman.
• Carrying out planned maintenance on equipment.
• Observing established Safety Regulations and Procedures during work.
• Ensuring tools/equipment used for welding/fabricating are kept in appropriate places after operations.
• Preventing injury to personnel and safeguarding company property.
• Understanding daily plan and prioritising work within the authority limits of the role.
• Operating within the relevant standards of safety, to reduce accidents and losses due to poor workmanship.
• Ensuring total completion of documents related to job execution for onward transmission to Foreman and the planning office.
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Craft Certificate in Boiler Making.
• Technician Certificate in Boiler Making will be an added advantage.
• All academic and professional qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority
• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Holder of a valid First Aid Certificate
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
