Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
- Guiding, training, developing and motivating subordinates to ensure that acceptable work quality standards are maintained
- Ensuring that quality workmanship is achieved through the use of safe working tools and procedures
- Maintaining of tools after completion of tasks
- Examining electrical installations and determining faults and spare parts required
- Signing off the work orders after completion of the tasks and handing them over to the supervisor
- Repairing of electrical machines in accordance to the laid down procedures (Refer to Safe Working Procedures)
- Interpreting of the information when carrying out data in the process of repairing electrical machines
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum Craft Certificate in Electrical from a recognized Institution
- Valid Membership of EIZ/ ERB
- Holder of a valid First Aid Certificate
- 2 Years experience
- All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority.
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives.
