The Company Seeks the Services of an Artisan Plant Fitter x 6

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

•    Carrying out routine planned maintenance to ensure optimum equipment and plant availability.

•    Carrying out planned adhoc maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment in accordance with job card instructions and approved drawings.

•    Monitoring equipment and plant condition to prevent further deterioration.

•    Adhering to Statutory and Domestic Regulations on Health, Safety and Environment.

•    Reporting work-in-progress to Supervisors.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

•    Grade 12 Certificate.

•    Craft Certificate in Plant Fitting.

•    A Technician’s Certificate in Plant Fitting will be an added advantage.

•    Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).

•    Good Problem-solving Skills.

•    Have good oral and written Communication skills.

•    Must be physically fit and with necessary dexterity to work with tools.

•    At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
