The Company Seeks the Services of an E-Learning Co-ordinator x1

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

  • Developing, installing (where applicable) and maintaining E-Learning platform for blended and online learning.
  • Developing E-Learning and training resources for online access by learners.
  • Providing front line support for trainers and learners for all ICT Based E-Learning Platforms.
  • Working with IT department to build ICT Support skills to ensure technical problems are dealt with efficiently to minimize disruption to users.
  • Maintaining learner and staff registration details and issue authorization.
  • Formulating and developing Mopani Central Training Centre (MCTC) E-Learning Strategic Plan.
  • Ensuring E-learning outcomes are integrated to systems as needed.
  • Developing analytical reports and dashboards to increase visibility into e-learning initiatives and their deliverables.
  • Identifying Training and Development needs of staff and offer training.
  • Liaising with trainers on placement of programme learning resources on E-Learning Platform.
  • Collecting of data for statistical records.
  • Offering support to learners on use of mobile learning devices, research work and finding online resources.
  • Keeping abreast with up-to-date industry trends.
  • Operating within Metallurgical Training Budget.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Degree in IT or related field.
  • Previous experience of working in a customer service or education environment will be added advantage.
  • Demonstrable Experience in E- learning design and content development, instructional text, audio and video scripts that support learning objectives.
  • Intermediate to professional Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Member of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives.
