The Company Seeks the Services of a Light Van/Lorry Driver x 2

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

•    Drive company vehicles in a safe and reasonable manner to prolong the lifespan.

•    Observes the Highway Code and Health Regulations to avoid endangering passengers and other road uses.

•    Carry out routine pre-shift vehicle checks and adhere to servicing schedule to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.

•    Maintain vehicle to required standard of cleanliness for hygienic purposes.

•    Drive the Health, Safety and Environment Standards/Policy awareness and Practice in the Department to ensure compliance.

•    Facilitate SLAM (Stop Look and Manage), Mopani Communication (MCom), training.

•    Attend to all transport request whenever required.

•    Ensure the vehicle is road worthy and meet all the statutory requirements before driving.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

•    Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.

•    Valid Class C Driving License.

•    Valid First Aid Certificate

•    2 Years work experience

•    Good Problem-solving skills

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
