Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from CBM systems such as vibration analysis, temperature sensors, pressure monitoring.
• Monitor equipment conditions and analyze trends to identify potential failures before they occur.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop actionable insights and recommendations for predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track equipment performance metrics.
• Provide technical support for the implementation and optimization of CBM systems.
• Perform root cause analysis for any identified issues and suggest corrective actions.
• Assist in the development of predictive models to enhance condition-based maintenance strategies.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to enhance data quality and analysis accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data collection and analysis.
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or related field or OEM trained (CAT/ Barloworld & SANDVIK) trained and experienced professionals.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc.) and statistical software (R, Python).
• Experience with CBM systems and predictive maintenance software.
• Familiarity with condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.
• Certification in predictive maintenance (e.g., ISO 18436, CMRT).
• Experience with machine learning or AI-based predictive analytics.
• Knowledge of SCADA or other industrial control systems.
• At least +5 years of experience in similar position.
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
