The Company Seeks the Services of Senior Operator x 1

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

•    Plans and Organizes the activities of the shift.

•    Conducts pre shift vehicle checklist and ensures all deviations are reported to the supervisor on shift.

•    Adheres to Mine safety regulations and Quality protocols.

•    Reports all Identified safety hazards to relevant authorities.

•    Collects and deliver samples within the agreed turnaround times.

•    Ensure collections of other departmental items are done within time to avoid affecting sample collection turnaround time.

•    Samples all designated concentrator environmental pollution samples.

•    Ensures all collected samples are made available in LIMS

•    Prepare the RMD feed sample by Milling and submits for analysis.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

•    Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent

•    Valid Class C Driving License

•    2 Years work experience

•    Good Problem-solving skills

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
