Company Secretary

Mr. Gondwe is an accomplished legal practitioner with vast experience in litigation, corporate advisory, banking and finance law, mergers and acquisitions, energy law, mining law, manufacturing law, capital markets law, commercial transactions law, employment law and taxation law.
He has been with Mopani Copper Mines PLC since 2014, having joined as Senior Legal Officer before rising to the position of Legal Counsel in 2017 and finally being appointed Company Secretary in 2021.
Before joining Mopani Copper Mines PLC, Mr. Gondwe worked at Corpus Legal Practitioners as Legal Associate and had a brief stint with the Judiciary as a Senior Research Advocate.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Zambia, a Post Graduate Advanced Certificate in Advanced Legal Education from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE), and was called to the Zambian Bar to practise as an Advocate of the High Court of Zambia in 2013.
