Mopani Copper Mines PLC on 25th November and 2nd December 2022 awarded 482 employees who have served the Company for 10, 20 and 30 years at Nkana Mine and Mufulira Mine Sites, respectively.

…As its Technical Advisor Mine Rescue receives an Excellence Award Mopani Copper Mines Plc has scooped two awards at the Zambia Chamber of Mines (ZCM) Mining Awards Gala for the year 2021 recently held at Ndola’s Protea Hotel. Mopani scooped the Best Performer in Social Investment for the Year 2021 and also secured the Mining Personality of the Year Award through its Operations Manager-Nkana Processing Plants, Cyril Muyoba who beat seven other contestants from other mines.

Mopani Copper Mines PLC is participating in the 2022 Zambia International Mining and Energy Conference and Exhibition (ZIMEC) taking place at Kitwe’s Garden Court Hotel.

Mopani Copper Mines PLC’s parent Company, ZCCM-IH, has bagged two first prizes at the just ended 94th Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show in Lusaka.
